    　　一、別問女士的年齡
    

    　　英國人非常不喜歡談?wù)撃腥说墓べY和女人的年齡，甚至他家里的一些家具值多少錢，也是不該問的。如果你問過一位女士的年齡，也是很不合適的，因?yàn)樗J(rèn)為這是屬于她自己的秘密，而且每個(gè)人都想要永葆青春，沒有比對中年婦女說一聲“你看上去好年輕”更好的恭維了。毫無疑問，每個(gè)女士的發(fā)型、化妝和衣著都是為了讓自己看起來更美麗、更年輕，但是如果她的打扮讓人感覺太刻意，那么別人就會(huì)帶著非難的口吻說她“顯得俗氣”。
    

    　　二、不能砍價(jià)
    

    　　在英國購物，最忌諱的是砍價(jià)。英國人不愛討價(jià)還價(jià)，認(rèn)為這是很丟面子的事情。如果你購買的是一件貴重的藝術(shù)品或數(shù)量很大的商品時(shí)，你也需要小心地與賣方商定一個(gè)全部的價(jià)錢。英國人很少討價(jià)還價(jià)，如果他們認(rèn)為一件商品的價(jià)錢合適就買下，不合適就走開。
    

    　　三、不能加塞
    

    　　英國人有排隊(duì)的習(xí)慣。你可以看到他們一個(gè)挨一個(gè)地排隊(duì)上公共汽車、火車或買報(bào)紙。加塞是一種令人不齒的行為。
    

    　　四、盥洗室與去“100號”
